The three best surf schools in Cap Ferret for learning to surf<\/h3><\/div>

From the Easter holidays through until the end of October, the water is warm enough to surf on the peninsula. Whether you\u2019re just starting out or are a confirmed surfer, these schools can propose a tailor-made programme for you.<\/p>\n

And there\u2019s also body board and body surf too! Lessons take place in a relaxed environment and involve theoretical explanations as well as practice, of course. The programme can be tailor-made to fit your needs \u2013 maybe just a taster lesson, a weekend mini-course, or longer. You decide!<\/p>\n

Surf courses can be organized for lengths of between five to ten days for all ages. Initiation courses are available for smaller children and, for the more adventurous, the surf schools also offer immersive programmes during the school holidays in France and even Portugal.<\/p>\n

Surfing or body board? The choice is yours! Start your lessons with confidence thanks to the different levels of classes available that allow you to progress at your own pace. Group lessons are also available for a length of one to two hours. There\u2019s something for everyone!<\/p>\n

The Horizon and Garonne beaches are stunning and offer both individual and group lessons. Individual lessons are generally about an hour long and can be booked for two people if preferred. The possibilities for a new sporting activity are many \u2013 either by yourself, as a couple, or with family and friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Surf Equipment<\/h3><\/div>

The surf schools will provide you with all the equipment you need \u2013 no need to rent or buy anything. And no matter how tall or small you are, there\u2019s a surfboard that fits you perfectly. Surf leashes, or leg ropes, are also provided.<\/p>\n

All lessons are given by qualified instructors and conform to current safety regulations.<\/p>\n
